Accurate amd small dimensions
For torques from 2 to 2000 Nm
For shaft diameter ranges from 3 to 80mm
The equalizing element of an jaw couplings is the convex elastomer insert. It transmits the torque without backlash or vibration. The elastomer insert defines the features of the entire coupling and/or of the entire drive system. The airless connection of the elastomeric insert and the couplings hub is achieved by pre-tensioning the insert. The ECOLIGHT® coupling compensates for lateral, angular and axial misalignment. In general, the elastomer inserts are made of four different elastomers, which are marked as follows:
Version A - hardness of elastomer 98 ShA (red)
Version B - hardness of elastomer 64 ShD (green)
Version C - hardness of elastomer 80ShA (yellow)
Version D- hardness of elastomer 92ShA - electrically conductive - for Ex areas (black) |
Due to their properties, jaw couplings with elastomers are mainly used in: drive technology with servomotors, machine tools, packaging machines, automation devices, printing machines, industrial robots, control and positioning technology, general mechanical engineering, spindle drive connections, and many other cases.
